Someone is actually selling a Yard Hook for cost on Ebay. I would buy it but I have two already. It's unusual to see someone sell any of the Busse knifes for cost.

That seems like a reasonable way to sell something ,put it up at cost and then let the market decide what it is worth.

If an item has a "buy it now" and an auction, there is a point where the BIN price will disappear - its either once someone places a bid on it, or once the bidding reaches the BIN price - I'm not sure which. That may be what happened.

That may be what happened. I'm pretty sure from my dealings with selling on Ebay that once it gets a bid the BIN disappears.

Here's eBay's BIN policy: Online Auction format:
When you choose the Buy It Now option on Online Auction listings (available for single quantity only), your item has two ways to sell.
1) If a buyer is willing to meet your Buy It Now price, your item sells instantly and your auction ends. 2) Otherwise, your auction proceeds normally. (In Reserve Price Auctions, Buy It Now disappears after the first bid that meets the reserve.) For Online Auction listings, the Buy It Now option is only available for a limited time.Source: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/bin.html Cool!! Great info, Thanks... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

It only lasted a few hours and it's gone. Wish I had the cash to pick up an extra one.
