I was basiccally ignoring thickness and finish grinding becasue they would not be a function of the CNC process.  Your stock thickness will not affect the CNC cutting, and things like flat/saber ground, and penetrator points are all added after the fact.  Anyway, I am now on the hook for this little theory.  We will see how it goes.  I admit I have no pattern that comes to mind for Busse Combat offerings, but they probably drive everything down the line in some fashion.

I would think for large runs they "punch" the blanks out, way faster and thickness may count there.
