Here's a picture of about the same spot at Tenaya Lake, in the evening:

Hmmm... Not much action, here. Perhaps I should abandon this thread, and go over to the death chat to talk about jello.

Nice pic, ColdOne!

What software did you use for stitching it?

Just the canon photostitch software... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

This winter project is to actually fix the gradient problems and smooth it out. Want to get a ~40" wide print of it. Might even have some buyers!

A dull knife will get you hurt but a sharp knife will keep you from getting hurt.

Nice - Where is Mono Lake? - Aside from the obvious "outside" answer.

Okay, then, Diceman, I'll continue on the lake theme. Here's Tenaya Lake, in the morning:

Lighthiker,

Approximately speaking, Mono Lake is just East of Yosemite National Park, in California.

Thanks, rainwalker,

The temperature was fairly warm, when I took the picture... 60ish or 70ish (Fahrenheit), but it had been just above freezing, moments before, when I was in shadow, before the sun came over the ridge.
