Is that little shotgun forshortened? or is that its total length? I'm infactuated by that beast! I got one, standard Remington 870 Police barrel is 18"....would have to measure it for the overall length. The other one is a Remington 870 Police...but I have replace the normal 18" barrel, with a 12.5" barrel....which I had threaded for standard remingtom chokes......once agian, I would have to measure it for the overall length. Ah ok, in the pic it looks like the barrel is about 6". Then I saw the shells, the vertical ones are standard length and the horizontal ones are shortened. oh yea, back to the big chopper thing, its easier to carry. Not as blocky as a hatchet or small axe. Now a hawk, that opens up a whole new set of terms, its much more compact, but the small face can be a limiter.

I have a K5 Hammer Poll Hawk and its a real beast. Aluminum handles, 3/8ths stock makes it chop like crazy. The beard part of the face has a sharpened underhook that is great for grabbing wood or hooking objects.
If I had my druthers, I'd have some G10 or micarta slabs made as a backup when its too cold to handle aluminum.

Theres a fellow locally that has a Class 3 gunshop, he is at some gun shows. All kinds of wonderful toys. He has a video from Knob Creek of a guy that owns one of those 4 barreled machine guns where you sit in the midst of them. Talk about a light show! drooooooool. They had one of those guns in Waterworld, one of the few good scenes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
