Very good news Vic! Now the birthday can be a true celebration!
That is why she postponed the celebration until this coming Sunday. Her actual birthday was the 7th. Typical of her. She is soooo methodical and organized. Now we all truly have something to celebrate....LIFE! I swear, she has every single minute of it scheduled.

Get her over to your place, feed her some beer and release her with a chopper! Give her a reason to cut loose and have some HD style fun!

Once I took her to a barrow pit with a cooler full of beer (she likes beer) and a S&W 629 44 Magnum with lots of ammo. We drank beer and blasted paint cans all afternoon. She still talks about how fun that was. Or maybe it was a 429. Whatever the stainless model 29 was called.

Yeah, Tom. We both could hit big ole paint cans with it. They were in the mud and water. I liked to shoot low and launch them tumbling thru the air from the shock. It had a 7 3/8" barrel. Its more humane than scaring turtles half to death in the Satilla River. In my ignorant youth, I did that. Those mud turtles would fly up into the air and then smack the water when they came down. God what a stupid redneck thing to do. Was amusing, though.

My dear sister just called. She had most of one lung removed from lung cancer about a year and a half ago. Her latest scan came back clear. We will be celebrating her birthday this Sunday. She has never smoked and avoids places with tobacco smoke. She was diagnosed with it right after our mother died. She has been worried since last Friday when she had the semi-annual scan done. She did not want to face chemo again. I am so happy for her! She is a great sister.

This is great news. Good for your sister and the whole family

That is great news, it's worth more than all the money in the world. I wish her many more happy birthdays.

Congrats for your sisters good health. I would much rather have my health and the free time to enjoy it than a big paycheck and 2 weeks a year.

Your sister and her husband sound really cool. I would love a machine gun collection but not happening any time soon in Kanada.
