Orange G-10 makes a nice handle material for a hard use knife. Harder to lose, too.

I have G10, orange on my RD7 and to tell you the truth, as beautiful as it is (and visible), and durable I wouldn't get that set up again, especially for a hard use blade, it's too hard, too cold and the vibrations go right to you. Res-C is the way to go for hard use, IMO...

when I first came here, I didn't know the durability of resiprene-C and thought it wouldn't last as long as the other handles, but quickly learned and read about it and felt it for myself, now I'm a firm believer of it! I luvs it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

The Respirine C just works. That is why I prefer the DF to the FBM for chopping.
