Hmm…the SAS books I have don’t look like the one Ted posted or in Terry’s avatar. I have two large squarish ones, one is general survival and the other one is urban survival, and I also have the pocket one. Here’s the only pic I have of 1 of the 3 books I have. Of couse, my pic is going to look crappy in comparison to Ted’s being posted right after it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I have trouble with my lighting sometimes. I need to rig a better shadow box.

Andy, you probably have a older version. I believe the text is the same, just the cover is different.

I think I'll pick up the SAS book and the Ranger handbook in my next amazon order.

Thanks, it's one of three things I've bought from eBay. I got one for my sister(she's in SaR) and I liked it so much I bought one for myself. It's very nice with a deerskin pouch.

I thought that might be it. We got ours in the early to mid 90's.

You find some great stuff on Ebay if you look around.

Here is a pic of my mora with a fire starter stuck into the sheath. It fits perfect and even matches colour.
