All of ironballs choices sound pretty good to me.

I really wanted that mammoth tooth leaner meaner streets, but it was the same $$ as an AK... 18" or 5" for the same price? I love the blue g10 meaner, but for what, 20% more i get the AK...
When i look at houses, its price per square foot above all... when i look at meat its $ per pound... I guess i am a little more on the utilitarian side before refinement... I guess thats why i love the yard so much.. more of what you need, nothing you don't. The SE's seem like decent deals for the amount of INFI, the type of blade, and the price... and i am fond of double cut finish.

I have never seen a double cut in person, but from the pics, the finish looks cool.

I have never seen a double cut in person, but from the pics, the finish looks cool. I'm not sure what "double cut" means, but my 2007 Special Edition Steel Heart 1 has it. It looks like a very fine bead blast finish, similar to the finish on the old Gerber Utility Bowies and BMF Survival Knives. It is not as reflective as a true satin finish. It is more like a scotchbrite finish without the lines. I like it.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Great scores Ironballs
The ONLY thing I was interested in was the Argonne assault..THEN I thought..hmm I can make one of those myself
Then I woke up
Then I drank coffee
Then I ate pudding
Then I cut a quickdraw sheath for the Rd4 series from ranger knives
Then I cut a quickdraw sheath for the DM
Then I wondered WHY I couldnt make on of those
Then I decided I would give it a try anyway
Then I remembered I dont have any CNC action going on and I will have to do it the old fashioned way
Then I replied to this thread

Double cut is a bit of a misnomer I think. From what I remember it is really a double bead blast, first with coarse beads then with fine beads.
I wanted to get an ASH 1 too, top of my list. I'd like to get a fat BATAC as well. I don't own an FSH yet and want one of those and an SFNO. The probability of getting all those is about zero. In the best case I figure that I'll have some float time with the credit card company to figure out how to sort it all out
Last Ganza my email got lost and I got nada. I don't have any high hopes that there will be much of anything left this time. But I had to try We'll see.

I thought about a Fusion Steel Heart, but they seemed a little steep. I figured I already have an FBM, A Dog Father, and a Fatty to cover the big blades. I really like the size and shape of the SH1 better than the FSH. I didn't need another SH1, but I though I'd make one a user if I score another one. I'm just itching to go chop something with mine. The Meaner Street is new to me and looks a lot like the SS4, so I figured I'd like it.

I would love to have certain Busse knives and there were a few in the lists that I would like, but I can't justify those prices.
WAY to rich for my blood.
Good luck to those who can.

They aren't cheap, that's for sure. Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard are still Busse quality at a lower price. Their steels are very good, if not INFI.

Horndog,
I went for the exact same thing but didn't get my email out until later. I have a feeling I am out of the race. How soon will we know if we got one or not? This is my first Ganzaa?.
Jeff This is my first Busse Combat one, too. I asked the same question. I guess in a few days we should get an email if we scored.

Amy will send out an email to you telling you what you scored (or not). The time seems to vary but you should hear something within a week to ten days plus or minus. I expect that the quantities are pretty limited this Ganza (unlike the Miliganza) so emails may go out a little faster, we'll see.
When I spoke with Amy she estimated that she sorted through THOUSANDS of emails for the Miliganza. I would go blind (or insane) doing her job. The BCS office crew (like all the other Busse family co's) works their fannies off for us.
