I don't know if this has already been asked but will Scrapyard be bringing out their version of the Swamprat Ratchet?
I think SR77 would be a great steel for these !!!

they had the preview thread and nothing but knives were included, but down the line i wouldn't rule it out. crash axe is already sr77, so you got somethin to look for. i'd also rather see what dan can come up with in a hatchet/axe format.

I think Res-C wouldn't hold up well for the type impacts you can generate with an Axe/Hatchet...thats why the Ratchet was so small.

Yeah the Crash axe is ok but I was looking for more of a camp tool such as the Ratchet !!!

The khuk' shape is a pain to sharpen on a flat stone! A parang would be a great compromise though..

true. the answer: don't use a flat stone. khuks don't need to be all tha sharp anyway.

that little axe looks pretty light. course, i'm biased. bowie beats em all anyway.

The traditional ones came with a tiny mini-khukri honing steel in the scabbard and a little food/ utility knife...
