This is just in from Rainwalker.. A custom made heavy duty sheath made of nice leather with a Kydex lining for seriously sensible money!! Jeff I owe you a beer sometime mate! If you don't have a Rainwalker sheath yet, you don't know what you are missing!

Paul, these are just the physical reasons why he is such a asset.

The true reason is in his heart and soul.

He is a man of honor and pride who you could trust with your childrens life.

He is my dear friend as well as a craftsman. Everytime I get a piece of work from him I am floored. Why he charges such a rate for his work?

Maybe he keeps his prices like Dan Busse does.Value to price that can NOT be beat.

Enjoy that sweet new chunk of leather. It is beautiful.

Peace.

PoP, I think you are right! Dan brings us great affordable steel, Jeff brings us beautiful functional leather to keep the steel in at a price that I can barely believe.

Jeff actually sent me a PM to say thanks for giving him the chance to make the sheath.. I say we are lucky to have him here with us!

I have a Keeper sheath on the way as well as a CS thrower sheath from Rainwalker.
I also just decided I need a leather coin sheath as well. It shows what a great deal and quality Rainwalkers sheaths are as well as what a nice guy he is as I have a awesome sheathmaker I usually use(he has more work than he wants so I don't have a jealousy problem)But then he has not seen how good Rainwalkers work is yet either.

Now I have a PM to send.

You guys are just too much... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Paul, I'm really glad your happy with the sheath.

I really hope to take you up on that beer someday sounds great... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

PoP, I am so humbled by your words. Sometimes I really don't think I'm quite worthy of such praise. I really do try very hard to make things the way I would want them made for me, and to treat people the only way I know. It's been a long time since I've found friends like I have here. That is truly what makes it all worth while. Dan's commitment to quality and value do strengthen and inspire my commitments as well. Dan's blades and Jerry's as well, deserve no less than the best I can do.

Thanks again guys... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

The Yard is such an awesome place, I can't really imagine what I'd do without it now... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Now I gotta get back to work. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Paul - I had the pleasure to meet Jeff at the Blade Show, and I can tell you for a fact that Jeff is a really decent and nice guy! I absolutely loved that sheath he made for Dan-in fact, I was admiring the sheath while some others were admiring Dan's bottle of Johnny Walker! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Tom

Nice sheath!

I have loved PoP's red kydex since he first posted pics of it.
