Well if I had to only keep one, it would be the Dog Father. I use it almost daily and it does what I need a knife to do better than anything else I have come across.
(Psst! Don't tell anyone but while I was crying and making a big scene about them taking away all my other knives, I would slip the SS4 into my pocket and keep it too!)

I with you Rich. Only I was thinking of some other kind of diversion... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

However to play fair...If the axe option isn't cheating then I would be happy with my Bad Warden since it's the first knife I put on in the morning and the last one I take off at night, that seams like the logical choice.

Yes it's Busse family for me... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I do have to say though if you asked me the same question tomorrow my answer might be totally different... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

LOL... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I won't be up that late especially with my daughter back in school. I have to get up even earlier... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

School and work just start way to early for me these days... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

I'll think about a new answer tomorrow... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

SS4.

The most probable reason we would be forced to give up our knives is they are worth WAY more than we can afford not to take. This means we can choose the most usefull not the most expensive knife. If I had to pick a knife to use for the rest of my life I would take the SS4 but if I was running out of a burning house I would grab my second pattern FS dagger. And my katana in my other hand because technically it is a sword not a knife.

I chose the SS4 over a larger knife like my Hook Guard because I could get by quite well with my Hawk ,sword and SS4.

Good thread but it needs a few pics.

FS dagger

My SS4 ,if it was not for what's left of that logo I would have Horndogged off the coating already.[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]

HookGuard ,The clip on the tip of the HG and SS4 sheath's is to attach inside my pack so I can pull the knife out without the sheath.

Not any stainless.

Not any here either

Unfinished hawk and very useful SC shovel.

I'd probably have to keep my Koster K-Tusk in S30V
7" Overall, 3" blade, pistol grip handle.
Steel is S30V (high carbon stainless steel)
Mosaic pin and red liners

[Linked Image from homepage.mac.com]

It's a good size for EDC and seems to be extraordinarily sheeple friendly.

Second to last choice would be my RatManDu.

That is a nice pair of pants for your SS4 there POP. If Gene Simmons was a knife that is the sheath he would have. Who needs a folder with a rig like that?

Cool. I'll stand by! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

OK...Here goes...I today it would be my Fusion Steel Heart. It's a little big for the small task but with that blade shape and full flat grind it just feels great. I had to put a hand on it this morning before I left for work...didn't want to let it go... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I think the boss might frown on it at work though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> It would be a great chopper and field knife, so If I had to grab just one cutting tool, today it would be the FSH!

I almost picked the DF, and then I saw the Guard, that lead to the Hook, and then I saw the........ <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Tough choice. Hmmm…I’m thinking maybe my Rat Mastiff. It was my first Rat, and it’s also the most valuable.
