Great blade there. Really like the file work. That puppy needs some leather though.

Very nice. Don't normally see a hamon line on a blade that size.

Looks like the ideal EDC if I was allowed to carry a fixed blade.
BTW it is beautiful

I have an even SMALLER knife with one. Here it is with my Shaker. It was made by a custom knifemaker in France named Pierre-Henri Monnet. It is made of forged XC75 carbon steel. It was a gift from Bloodyfrog. (From Rat Chat)

You’re a cop and they won’t let you carry a fixed blade!? What’s next? Will they not trust you with batons and guns? I’ve read several stories in magazine of cops who carried a fixed blade as a backup and it saved them when the criminal was able to take their gun from them.

Hmm, that looks a little familiar.

I like the point on yours a little better and the handle looks more refined. He has definitely improved since mine. Congrats!!

What steel is that. Mine's O-1 I believe.

Ted,
Your knife was the model for mine. I emailed Matt and sent him a pic of yours with the modifications I prefered drawn over it. He made it! I think it turned out great. This one is out of 1095 steel.

Nice blade KS. The hamon and filework really suit that knife!
