I want an emerson because of the wave feature. I would grap a spidie with the wave but they are not serrated!

I love my EKI folders. However, with dress pants I carry an EDI Genesis I. G-10 scales, titanium liners, extremely low ride pocket clip, and a 3.9 inch blade of ATS-34. Very light, and it disappears in the waistband.

I have to agree with Horn Dog on the Cold Steel Voyagers. I carry my X2 Voyager everywhere I go, and have the 5" model as well as the Gunsite model. I have used them for several years now without any problems. Tom

I am not bashing the Busse knives. If you look at my post there is a big smile. I just think a company that makes knives out of custom steel should stick with that steel. I love the INFI and the other. I see no reason they cant make a super heavy duty folder. I know I could use a duty folder that would take the abuse of a fixed blade busse. I can't go walking around on duty with a Battle Mistress strapped to my leg. The chief would have a heart attack. I know a heavy Busse folder would not only be a hit but a GREAT service to us Police and military people. On the SV30 steel I find it very hard to sharpen. It also chips easy. A 3/16 INFI blade about 3.5 or 4 inches and about an inch wide would be perfect.
I love my country but fear my government.

I like either a really small gents folder like my new Fenix or a small fixed blade like the Busse skelly assualt Shaker. The skeleton handle makes it nice and slim and with the right sheath preferably with a clip on the sheath like you would have on a folder it fits in the pocket just like a folder. You don't have to open it though and it is stronger. Here is a closed pic of the Fenix with the Keeper for size comparison. ![[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/8/22320265083.jpg) I am really happy with the Fenix knife ,it is made of the same decent stainless as the Byrd knives and has a nice G10 handle. Solid lock up and the same black coating as the lights. I also am a fan of the spear point blade shown in the next photo. ![[Linked Image from img2.putfile.com]](http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/8/22320265234.jpg) There is a clip but the knife is small enough to just drop in a pocket. Usually t ends up in my Moms purse as she has taken a liking to it.

Very light, and it disappears in the waistband. I have an EDI Genesis I. This is a very nice knife. Great blade shape! Simple yet fairly ideal ergos. My only issues with the Genesis are VERY minor little details. The titanium liners don't seem quite stiff enough and the lock seems a little soft. I don't personally need a crazy strong lock. I just like the blade to not have any play. Mine has a little and seems like it might be partly do to the titanium liner lock, but it may just be that I need to go all the way out to my garage to get the right bit to tighten the blade screw (????). The thumb ramp is a little off for me. Not bad, but I have considered grinding it down some - then I would loose the ridges though . Also, I might reshape the stud access for slightly better access. I don't pull this knife out enough, but I would say it could be a close contender to my most common EDC - my CRKT Apache. Another similar knife is the Benchmade McHenry & Williams. All great knives! .

This size knife is good for me to EDC with shorts, jeans and docker type pants, but it is just too big for me with dress pants. .
