got a package in the mail today... it was my yard hook! and I can tell you it was worth the wait. The Res C is better then I thought it would be and the whole thing feels solid in my hand. I'll post full pics this weekend after I have my camping trip to really test out this beast (and hopefully rainwalkers sheath arrives by then too )

Pretty stout camp knife, isn't it?

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

well... I need some excuse to use it
With that big heavy blade, the Hook should make a great camp knife, snook. Those recurves chop good.

Just as an add on, would like to thank the members of this forum and on bladeforum for helping in the decision towards scrapyard knives

Its very nice right now, I wish I could go camping more but I just moved out here a couple months ago and have just been getting accustomed. Being a little biased, BC is the nicest place I know of year round though there is a lot of the world and north america that I havent seen

I am glad you got your knife. You should have some real fun with it.

Welcome to the Yard

Thanks Dan, I'm sure I'll have fun with it just as sure as I'm gonna have to try and get the next knife you come up with.
