Good luck to you who like that, but it doesn't work for me.

I can't stand the blade finish. Looks like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

Handle doesn't look very inviting.

Don't know anything about the steel or price... didn't see it on the link.

You guys know what I like better......

It looks serious, KP. Some of us tried and tried to convince Dan to make us one in SR77. Who needs a gladius? Who needs a tomahawk? Who needs a Dog Father? We do. Thanks for the pics. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

+1 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Why grip about the price? The fellow selling it is running a business, that price isn't straight from Dwyer....it is from a retailer.

Nice, but at that price it is a display not a user. Display's should be shiney in my opinion.

The Gladius isn't my personal favorite sword... although, I love the movie The Gladiator!

And I wouldn't be entirely against owning a Gladius sword, but I don't consider a Gladius styled blade to be a blade I would use for any real world use, so I would prefer a little more historical accuracy if I were personally going to invest in a Gladius.

I don't expect Scrap Yard to replicate Historical accuracy....

The following looks MUCH nicer to me than the Dwyer. But, to each his own.
