Cool pics. That looks like a neat place to explore. What, no pics of the snakes? I imagine they were pretty lethargic if it was cold enough you needed jackets. Just be glad it wasn’t a warmer day and they weren’t a bit livelier.

the new toy was great, I was only able to get a few chops in, but as I said before the res c is better than I expected it to be, cant wait to get a full trip in with it . As for Botanical Beach that whole area is nice, right on the marine trail if you want to go for a couple days and can get you all the way down to china beach.

I live right in Victoria actually, like 2 blocks from downtown, took roughly hour and three quaters give or take to drive up to botanical beach. Also for further interest we checked out goldstream park today and that place is amazing, didnt get to explore too much, but if you like forest areas that seems to be the place to go.

Oh for sure, it's quite a large area at the top and you look one way and can see the Bear Mt Resort ( not as nice as trees and mountains but oh well ) and you look the other way and can see trees as far as the eye can see while Eagles and Vultures soar overhead....just don't forget the Tea !!!!
