you have a point. we are not married to dan on the yard. there are lots of quality knives out there and i think most of us are here b/c we appreciate quality. i share everyone's frustration over the preceived lack of information.
on the otherhand you're right this is dan's house. he runs his show his way and we as consumers react. i'm not as well versed as to other manufacturer's, but i don't think we get this level of communication with the ceo of CS, or buck.
i am at a point now where i try not to think about it, i am very happy with the quality knives i'm added to my collection since being here (SS4, Mandu, AD, DF, DM) and when the next offering happens, i'll make a decision.
