Of course, that is just my first and primary reason followed by my long list of other things I look for in my knives! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

then you have to factor in cool factor, and how it will look with the majority of your outfits.

Just got a call from a major engineering company in Atlanta. They want me to head up a water/sewer project just south of here on the FL line. Decisions, decisions. Big money.

Good luck.... whatever you choose... (???). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

will you have to dig the ditches by hand or will they let you use a back hoe?
I passed that level some decades ago. My main area of expertise is in treatment and environmental compliance.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

That sounds cool. That area (environmental compliance) has really exploded in the past decade hasn't it?

Mmmmmmm..... No. - .... How it looks with my "outfits" has never been on my decision list. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> ...., but I will try not to say "too" much if that is on your decision list. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Visual aesthetic appeal - sure. I like satin blades. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and all kinds of different handle materials. But, I never tried to match them to my attire.

.... I guess I do like some of my folders to be somewhat inconspicuous and non-threatening to help keep the sheeples at ease. .... If that counts (????).

"Cool factor" has probably come into play a little here and there. But, for me, it is based mostly on preferences in design, ergos, function, materials, etc.

No... I don't really have any problems with that so long as you are equally or sufficiently happy with performance from both knives.

I wasn't sure if you were trying to give me some ribbing or if I was given a good opportunity to give you some ribbing. So, I chose the later. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

For the record, I carry a black SAK Executive, because I like the color better.

... as they say: "It's all good...".

What an evil leaf-shaped recurve. Naturally, I love it. You're the man, Ted.
