I guess this question is really for Dan !
I was just curious how you recieve the military orders ? Do they come from individuals or from Units etc and how do they order when the stocks say they are gone ? Also could you let us know what knife/ knives they order, just out of interest ?

I guess great minds think alike, cuz I posted the following in Dan's thread yesterday, but didn't hear back yet:
"Dan - just curious - do you get orders from entire units (companies, batteries, battalions, whatever) or from individual soldiers? I'm really glad to hear that our troops are getting their hands on some of the best knives on earth.
Also, do you offer them models that we've already seen, or is there a separate Military line of Scrappers?? "
Anyways, I'm w/ you Pit - really wondering how all of that works!!
Lets hear it Dan!!

Good questions. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Dan to answer. The details of Scrap Yard military transactions are probably confidential. You are correct Dan

I would not be surprised if we could make some educated guesses by what knives come up for sale on the next knife offering.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

OK. I guess that when the time comes that my unit gets deployment orders, I'll send you an email Big Dog and you can let me in on the secret

I'm sure you're right Bruce - Dan is a heck of a guy and really cares about the soldiers. I'm hoping we don't get sent anywhere too soon, but I guess you never really know. Being Engineers, we probably won't get sent until the "rebuilding" phase of the war That could be a while!!

You might be clearing minefields in Iran or busting levees in New Orleans during the next storm. Just kidding about the levees. Still, that's the hard way to get a new scrapper.
