So, what is your current EDC?

Mine is a small fixed blade, the Karda by Daniel Koster. The Karda is made of O1 steel. Blade is 1/8 inch thick and just over 3 1/4 inches long. Scales are green canvas Micarta. Sheath is Kydex.

SS4 or one of the 2 new folders I got in the mail yesterday, either the waved Commander(wave is awesome)or the Spydy Chinook depending on whether I can get away with a fixed blade or not.

Busse Skeleton Warden. Carry it every day without fail. Might have to mod it, tho. The pics of the polished spine mod and the inserts mod look so good, I may have to do both to mine!

WOOF!

I pretty much ALWAYS carry my 3" framed SAK Executive.
I find the 2.25" SAKs to be way to small for my liking and the 3.5" - 4" SAKs are too large for my front pockets (poke out too much).
The 3" SAK Executive gives me most of the tools I like to use. I use the scissors and tweezers a lot and occassionally the flat head tip and flat phillips.

*** I just wish the blades were decent knife steel and the tools were decent tool steel!!!!

When wearing dress pants, I can't usuaully carry much else. Sometimes I throw in my Kershaw - Ken Onion Leek or Chive for fun.

But, when wearing casual pants, jeans or shorts, I always have a 2nd "REAL" knife.

For me, my primary EDC is always a folder unless I am camping, hiking or hunting.
If camping, hiking or hunting, I will often have 2 - 3 knives.

- I usually have a larger 3.5" - 4" SAK (or leatherman), a "Real" folder and a fixed.
The fixed blade is usually a 4" - 5" blade.
But, that is where the "which week is it" thing comes in!
Sometimes I want a big chopper.... many more to choose. But, currently, my large chopper is my (personally made satin) Battle Rat. (Truth comes out.... I am missing one of the most significant Scrap Yard knives....) I passed on the Dog Father because I thought the DFLE would be shortly behind it and I didn't want to have to strip it myself. So, I have been waiting..... and waiting....

My current rotation of "REAL" folders are:

- Heavily modified CRKT Apache
- Heavily modified RUKUS
- And I am wanting to start carrying my Lone Wolf Tighe that I have also modified. But, I need to adjust (modify) the clip some. It is currently too tight.

I have lots of other folders that I consider very good and worthy. But, there is always some little detail I want to change, customize, and/or modify and I haven't wanted to modify so many of them.... yet.

I used to EDC a Kershaw Ken Onion Whirlwind that I only had to lightly modify. Still a good EDC choice.

Others with great EDC potential (for me):

- Al Mar - SERE 2000 (a little too bulky/thick, but awesome and very well made knife)
- Benchmade - McHenry & Williams
- Benchmade - TSEK large with axis lock
- Boker - Brend
- Delta Z - Osprey Scale release D/A (....but, not legal to carry. )
- EDI - Genesis I
- Kershaw - Ken Onion - Boa
- Spyderco - Military (WISH it had a thumb stud and not a hole)
- Spyderco - Terzuola (WISH it had a thumb stud and not a hole)

.

I EDC a Spyderco native.

I just finished a sheath for a Bark River Highland and I am fixing to start carrying it as an EDC.
