Way off topic i know, but if anyone has current carfax subscription, could you let me know... I am about to buy a car and want to check the vin, and save $25

I helped my son buy a car recently and a Carfax or other guarantee was a must. One place where we looked, A car dealer tried to hook us with an outdated Carfax... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Well, I am looking at an Mr2 Spyder. its a 2000 but has 130,000 on the clock... and thats allot of opportunity for trouble... So I definately want to run it... If I can't find a hookup, I will spend the $30-50 or whatever... but generally, when i pay for it, I post in the forums i frequent that i can run for others... and just in case anyone else is has recently paid for the month access.. I thought id check...

I am terrible at buying used cars. I always want something cool. I needed a halfton and ended up with a 86 F350 dumptruck dually with a 460 and a 4 speed.
The thing was indestructible and could move a house but driving it to school nearly bankrupted me and it was the ugliest vehicle ever. The vehicle before that was a Ranger 4X4 that I painted urban(black white and grey) camo. It needed constant attention to keep running had the most complicated eletronic carb in history and looked like I was in the Taliban.

If I was buying a car now I would probably end up with a 80's Shelby Rampage(mini elcamino)I have had my eye on.
