I hate scorpions.
Really, I do.

So I sprayed the little bugger with some bug spray.
Made him stunned.
Then, I got the trusty new Dog Father and cut the wiggly little devil in half with the end like the hubby does with his Busse.

Wonder if I can get LeatherDog to stamp scorpion kills in the sheath.

Die scorpion die. I have found a handful of scorps in the house over the past few years, one was a bark that was 8 inches long when it's tale was extended. He was still alive and kicking after I chopped him in to about 15 pieces. Them things are tough.

I found a snake in my kitchen this Saturday. He was only about 7 inches long with black and red striped. I thought oh crap it's a coral snake, but no yellow stripe and after a google search, I found out he was a "ground snake".

Me and my family spent a couple of weeks in Tucson a year or two back and the last day we were there my son found a Bark Scorpion on the floor in the bathroom. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> It was quite a surprise. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

Hunting them with UV light is fun though... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> They glow bright Green!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Scorpions give me the heebie jeebies.

I was standing there in my birthday suit fighting a scorpion for bathtub rights with a big blade... i did not think to take pictures. And I scooped up the remains with the blade and flushed him down the toilet when I was done cutting him up.

Those Arizona scorpions are just too big. Make me scream like a little girl.
The Dog Father makes me feel brave, tho. In the past I would have woken up the old man (screaming like a little girl) and had him dispatch it. Now, I may just start dispatching them myself... me and the Dog Father.
