The stupidest knife related almost injury was while watching "V for Vendatta".
I have that swiss bayonet that looks like the knives in the movie and I tried the fancy finger flip he did. It came down like a heat seeking missle headed straight for my crotch and I had to do a total dive out of the way to keep from neutering myself.

I use one of those for a thrower, and I once dropped it tip first onto my Big toe. Luckily it was a little blunted from thousands of throws, but it bruised the toe badly and ensured I never did that with bare feet again.

I actually was sharpening my CS Norse hawk and leaned it against the end table and
went to bed. I woke up in the night and stepped on the bottom edge and put a painfull hole in the bottom of my foot. It is better now but was typical of the more embarrassing than harmful knife related injuries I keep inflicting on myself.
Gosh, Unsub. That sounds like something I would do. I'm having fun learning to throw mine.

My pine tree is looking rough. I need to get a round to throw at.

ZeroNine,

That's so beautiful, it brought a tear to my eye...

It brought a tear to my eye to---- because I thought it was so awful.
