I can't really add much on this one other than INFI acts like stainless- 440C or AUS6/AUS8 when in a warm salt water soak, it just doesn't react at all. Sr77 does surface brown rust- which cleans easily and it doesn't pit. It also gets black marks/patches again these clean up well..

In my view if corrosion is an issue get yard knives as the handles (Yard knives have the best handles in the Busse family and possibly the world!) protect the tang metal so well, or INFI as the metal is pretty much stainless steel anyway.

As to whether the differences are very noticeable- I sure could tell the difference between the bill I got for my S6 and the bill for the Busse Combat Badger Attack!! Personally until Jerry sees the error of his micarta lovin' ways, I'll stick to Dan's stuff... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
