Any other pool players here? If so, what do you play?

I came up on straight pool but have trouble finding anyone who plays the game these days. So now, I play 9 ball just to have some competition.

My Dad has played for 50+ years. He's pretty well known as "Toledo Ron". He'll be 70 this year and still plays everyday. I can't play worth a hill of beans.

I bet your Dad remembers Straight Pool very well. It's great he still plays every day. I have such fond memories of the old-timers who played in the old pool rooms in Chicago. Many 3-cushion players, straight pool and one pocket players years ago. I take it your Dad played in Toledo Ohio?

My wife and I played tournaments in Riverside and San Diego County in CA years ago. Since I moved to AZ and got a real job, kids and a general dislike for bars, I never play anymore. I will get a table one of these days.

9-ball is the game I like best.

I love to play Pool any way, any game, anytime.

Unfortunatly I don't have regular access to a table or the time to go where there is one so I rarely get to play these days...

Spent a 2 week vacation in a house one time that had a Pool table. Me and the kids played Pool more than we did anything else it was a great vacation...

I'd love to get a table in my home, but I guess there isn't room. I play at a local place called Clicks. I was playing in a league but that's over now.

Our buddy Private Klink has a nice table, he said I can come over, just bring cash/knives/beer and no sore losers!

He's played all over the country, but is originally from Toledo, Ohio
