You have more to worry about from your daughter than any silly boys at that age.
If I remember correctly from my misspent youth the girls were much more knowledgeable and aggressive than the boys.

One of the most beautiful stories I heard about a Father and Daughter is how this one father took his daughter on her first date himself.
How he got her flowers, took her to a great dinner place and made her feel like Ultra-Princess of the universe and then after it was over he told her;
"That is how every guy who takes you out should treat you!"
She said she remembered it fondly for the rest of her life and made sure all boys/males treated her the same... What an interesting approach Thanks Dan

hey now. thewre are nice guys out there. *clears throat* lol but for the jerks you should clean the .45!
and i personaly would love to date a girl whos dad has scrapyards. good genes. I agree that there are nice guy's but the jerks seem to surface more often. Dan, I have a two daughter's in their early 20's now. I've gone through the same thing twice! Sounds like you got started off on the right foot. Once my girls got brave enough to bring one home to meet dad I took him to the gun range. Didn't make any threats, just a fun day at the range. They got the point after looking at my target.
I always had a house full of teenager's, my place was the most fun to hang out. I always fired up the grill and feed them. They knew they would have a blast as long as they followed simple rules. If Dad was home the boys could go in the living room and kitchen. If Dad wasn't home the boys stayed outside.
You started GREAT!! I was once told there were only two kind of people who knew everything there was about raising kids. "Those who didn't have any and those who had one and got luckily."
Just be an active part of her life and get to know her friends as much as possible. All good points of wisdom. Patti and I work very diligently to play an active roll in our kids life...that's what we think parents should do. You sound like a pro and I appreciate your comments, they closely match my thinking Thanks Dan

Dan - I'm so glad you're back chatting! I only have boys, and they're only 2/4 years old - but I remember when my little sister started going on "dates" and "formals" and "homecomings..." What a nightmare! Just by chance, I had been out shooting and was sitting at my parents' house cleaning a 12 gauge, Colt 1911, and my Glock 9mm when someone dropped by to see my sister. It was pretty classic!
Anyways, Boss - I'm sure you raised her right - you probably have much less to worry about than you think you do!
