Maybe it's just me, but the scrapper 4 seems like the perfect customization project.

What kind of customizing are you talking about...so far there is a stripped one and one with a moddified handle?

Mirror finish or bead blasted would look cool.

I really do not like mirror finished blades. Not really crazy about bead blast either.

I am not fond of mirror or bead-blast myself, but I love satin finish!!!

I also did a full convex on the blade.

It is an awesome little knife and I love the satin finish, but unfortunately I had to loose the awesome Scrap Yard Junkyard Dog "INFI" logo. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I wish it could have been saved!

.

JYD #39 I prefer "SATIN" blades!!!

KnifeGuy,
Sweet-lookin bare Infi bro!

KnifeGuy,
noticed in your top pic your handle has that "shiny forehead" too!
SS4 is my first Res-C, so not sure if it's just mudders that do this.
When handled.. finger oils/grease must make it Shiny like that? whereas micarta just soaks it up.
but after washing w/ soap it becomes flat black again.
