I ordered DM and expected it came today or tomorrow.

It did not. It turned out it is on hold. It is two days after I made it and nobody contacted me or something regarding the fact that there is some problem with my order.

How does it work?

I am kind of surprised and confused...

Hi Nozh2002,

Welcome to the Yard!

If you entered payment info online, don't worry about it!

The ordering system here is more like Busse Combat and not like Busse Company Store.

Patti Busse will be processing orders from now until who knows! It normally takes a week and change for her to get through all the orders. If there is an issue with your order (payment info, shipping, etc) then you will receive an email from her. Otherwise, sometime within the next week you should see the charge on your card and MAYBE receive a shipping notice. During the last release, some shipping notices were received by people after they already had the blades in hand!

OK,thank you. So nothing wrong with my order it is on hold because credit card will be processed when order will be processed. So I just need to wait.

Sorry, I was confused thinking that something wrong because it is on hold.

I thinks, you may have some note on the site or in the order saying that card will be charged when you ship it and may be call it not "on hold" - because I read it as it is something wrong, but "in the cue to be processed" or something.

Mine simply says, "Invoiced" It usually changes to "Shipped" the day I get the knife.

Dan has said the knives will not ship until next week at the earliest.

So it seems that I actually have some problem with my order if it is marked as "on hold"!

Did anybody has order on hold before?

Vassili: I think it would be best if you emailed Patti Busse (the wife of Dan Busse, Dan is the owner of Scrapyard Knives - Patti is who processes the orders). Her email address is: patti@scrapyardknives.com Let he know what your invoice number is, and ask her about the status of your order. I think this is the best thing for you to do to make sure that your order is being processed. There may be a problem if you did not include the additional shipping charges for orders being shipped out of the United States. I'm sure that Patti will be able to help you with any of your concerns.

Of course I did it already with all details as well as I found out that something is wrong - but to sales@scrapyardknives.com

I am perfectly in California and it is inside US so far (even if it is hard to beleave sometimes).

But if you say that it is just about a regular reaction time, and I just need to wait "two weeks" and then it will be handled - I am kind of OK with this. I just try to understand what is going on and have some control over it.

I was advised on Busse Blade Forums to post this question here - so I did.

V - I'm sure you'll be taken care of - Scrapyard has the best "customer service" in the business. I haven't heard of an order being "on hold" before - so I'd be sure I got an answer on that before "two weeks" is up!
