Here's butthead at just over 8 weeks old. Now she's almost 8 months old. It's like having the Lab channel, she's all Lab, all the time.

I wish my dog would just lie there. Heck, I wish mine would just sleep.

Man, the Lab Channel is the best channel!

She must be a field bred Labrador. That's why she doesn't sleep! My boy is a conformation bred Labrador from English bloodlines. All he does is sleep. If I didn't play with him and walk him everyday, he would literally sleep all day and all night. He has been this way since he was a pup. Lazy as hell!

Lab puppies are so cute. My family is fostering a Saint Bernard puppie right now. He's cute but not house trained yet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> Andy is Sallie pure weimaraner or a mix?

She's an English breed. Father was the 2005 Eukenaba (sp?) breed champion (or so were told) and mother was some runner up in some other big well to do dog production.

A lot of it has to do with her age. And she doesn't get out to run as much as we'd like since we're in an apartment right now. Hopefully soon we'll have some acreage and a place for her to run. Then maybe I'll get her a lifepartner.

I liked the lab puppie but my mom loved Sadie. It was the green eyes and the grin.
I want a dog but I live in town right now so I can't get anything but a little one. I like the little terriers like "wee jock" from Hamish Macbeth but really want a hunter and the room to let it run. I like pit's but the bad press is enough to make me not get one. When I was younger I had a pit that would pull me for miles on my skateboard. I had a harness to pull and a choker to steer(suggestions)
and it could really get me around Vancouver well especially when it was a familier route. He seemed to think I should be able to stop and jump as high and as fast as he could though. We have lots of dogsleders here in Prince Albert(for sport not travel)and some guys have sleds with wheels for training in the off season.
The best dogs are really small though not the big huskies you see in the movies.
Stuff like the dogsled races and king trapper contests make winter much more bearable.
