I know some of you have gotten leather with ostridge inserts from Rainwalker.
Please post some pics, if you can. I am currently debating an insert, and this would help.

Yep, Insert, inlay whatever you want to call it. The ostrich is actually laminated to a slightly thicker leather backing and then framed with leather on top to protect the outer edge.

How abouit stingray or rattlesnake skin. I actually have a big chunk of stingray
(same) left over from a katana project.
