if it's a local ISP, call them up and verify your account and they should fix it for ya, if it's like yahoo or something like that they have link (like I forgot my pass word link) and you'll get to verify your account (those crazy questions they have you fill out when you sign up) and that should take care of it. hopefully the hijacker didn't change them questions and answers!

That is not acceptable on any knife, let alone a LE.
Contact Dan, send it back. Keep us all in the loop.

I wrote Patti a while back to suggest that Dan's or her involvement in the "Knife for a Soldier" thread might help move it along. She responded to me quickly, although her response indicated that Dan is hard even for her to reach lately.

If you haven't already, you should make sure to add Patti's and Dan's email addresses to your email account's Address Book. Several accounts that I've dealt with use a spam filtering strategy where they'll (frequently, but not always) dump incoming emails into the Bulk/Junk Mail folder if they don't originate from someone in your Address Book. I've found correspondence that I was waiting (impatiently) for in my Bulk mail folder more than once. These were people who I wrote to first, so I thought that they'd be recognized as OK, but they weren't.

I get their emails just fine. They don't get mine.

If I get any with the gap I will send it back.
I had a SS4 with a gap but I was able to fix it by heating the res C and pushing it into the gap.

when i buy something with the reputation,price and hype of a busse family blade i would expect near perfection.i just sent a knife back to ranger because one of the hollow tube fasteners was split and looked like crap but the great thing about justin and dan is that they care about the customer and take pride in their work.

i also had inspector 47 on my dm le and boy do i feel lucky.i must have got him before he fell asleep...lol..ha,ha

I just got mine today, and fortunately it doesn't have the handle gap, but it doesn't have a penetrator tip and I was expecting one from the description. Thats not enough to make me sorry I got it, but it is disappointing. On the other hand I do think the LE is going to be much more user friendly than the original.
