If it helps out Dan and Patti, then it's a good thing. Even if it makes it a bit tougher on me come knife buying time.

Just finished watching the videos and WOW. I couldn't help but laugh when he was trying to break the tang with the 3 lb sledge and it just kept bouncing back

wow, I checked out that thread on knifeforums. thats why I don't venture off much. Sure there are good points on both sides but I dont want to see a flame war that other forums seem to produce. Good job Yard!

Terry, the S6 is wonderful, the way it's balanced, the res-c feel, the perfect power-size! it was my first SY and it's like the middle man between the big chopper and small edc. And it will be offered here again! You'll have your chance. Just think one day....(then add 2 weeks)
Very good points Rainwalker, +1 bro, just makes you prouder!

I still have four of them. All I need is the LE. The S6 is the best all-around fixed blade knife I know of. Makes me wonder why I bought a BATAC and M6. The Scrapper 6 is a real survival knife. And a bargain at the price.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Snook, There are alot of knifemakers on that forum...
anywho
I give respect to the dawgs
however
I really couldnt think of a decent reason to watch the tests
I find almost no value in them, other than the amusement of it all
I refuse to endorse such behavior
but if dan digs it then I am ok with it I guess
NOW
have I given a knife to someone and told them to kill it??
Yuppers sure have..
why??
err giggles work for ya?
how was it tested you say??
Well it cut stuff...Alot of stuff and still shaved hair when it was done
hmm a knife cutting stuff..go figure
Does he dig roots with a knife as a test?? that I can support as it was done with one of mine
I am going to stop now and simply say
A piccolo bass is NOT A BASS!!!!

noss tests knives to see what they can take under pressure and how long they can stay alive he also tests the blade geometry by pealing the apple he useually does a outdoor test before the distruction test he is very creative in his testing and is even doing a test of the sog seal knife while under water
