Nice Colt! I never got a stainless one, though it was always my first choice.
Cool grips.

Paul,
I am seldom mad at more than 8 people at a time. When I am, my M1A steps in for it's older brother.

I think those colt delta 10mms were way more manly than the 1911. no offense, guys, but that's just how it is.

You're entitled to your opinion, Din - even if it sucks

Roo - those are Yost Bonitz grips - they're great - they even did the cutouts on the back side for the Ambi-safety!

aw, dan. I'm not saying the 1911 is a BAD firearm. it's just like the difference between the DF and the S6, you know?

That historic venerable old Colt pistol is historic and venerable, but a Glock 10mm holds 15 rounds- if my back was against the wall I'd take 15+1 10mm over 7+1 .45ACP!

8+1 I carry the 1911 as a duty pistol along w/ 2 spare mags - but when I'm traveling, I carry my Glock w/ 17+1 of 9mm.

no glocks. they are disallowed until further notice. besides, you can get the fat stack 1911s that hold just as many rounds, and are not made by glock.

Yost Bonitz, don't know him. I like them a lot; the color suits the stainless.

Those are sweet - There was a guy I was at the range with that packed a Para full size double stack and a compact double stack. His compact (which he no longer carries!) failed to feed about every other round - and it was well oiled and maintained, etc. Hopefully that was just a fluke

You will find a hard time convincing me that Glock is anything but a very good combat pistol - granted, I carry a 1911, but Glock makes a great pistol. (I have seen the little rear slide guide clips break off on one though!)

I'll tell ya about those XD's. They were made by a Croatian company called HS Arms, and the pistol was called the HS2000. I kinda liked them for $250 or whatever they were - then Springfield bought them out, stamped their name on them, and doubled the price.

You can't possibly knock GLOCK and then try and give props to a whored out croation knock off of the Glock
