I've been curious about the Surefire knives myself.

But If I'm gunna spend that much for a knife, I'd rather spend it on a Busse family blade.

I have handled them in shops but never actually used one. I suspect this will not change since they are much dinero and a Spyderco Endura works for everything I need to cut with a folder.

The Vic OHT is an awesome knife - what article did you read on it? I'd be interested in seeing it. I picked one up last week, and love the hell out of it.

Did you handle it much, Vance? What'd you think? I don't have anything in s30v - but it gets a lot of good press lately!? I put my hands on a Strider the other day, that was the only s30v I've ever touched, but I didn't use it at all.

dice,
i didnt mess around with. i got to fondle it for a few minutes but that was it.

i have 2 blades in s30v(both rat traps).i have only used one of them & have not had to resharpen it since i got it (i think it's been about 1.5-2 months ago.)
i hate having to sharpen knives after every use.
