The Gerber LMF II is one serious survival knife. The sheath is the best. The built-in carbide sharpener works, too. I have one. I just wish they made a civilian model without the serrations. I have given mine hell and it is unfazed. I'm talking about hard use, like batoning into live oak and such. I used to think it was ugly until I used it.
yes I wish they would make versions with a little less aggresive or no serations

Funny thing though, the lock is a liner lock but it's different...you'll see.

It's easier to see than explain, but you know how you usually push the liner with your thumb to unlock. With the SAK OHT, it's on the other side of the blade, so you have to kinda pull it with your thumb instead. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Seems to work just fine, just takes a little getting used to. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Victorinox designed the liner lock specifically for me since I am left handed. Thanks Mr. Elsner. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Well there you go. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I knew there was a good reason for it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Well us lefties can't use Mac 10's, but then I don't jack liquor stores anyway. Other than that, I like being a lefty.

I'm right-handed, but left-eye dominant, so I shoot rifles left-handed. It hasn't been a huge issue except for bolt-actions, which are hard to get and a lot more expensive. I also bought a Stag Arms lefty AR, although I probably could have lived with a righty since it's semi-auto.

I have a Rem 700 with a left handed action. I have been shooting righty AR's for over 10 years so I am used to it. I like the Stag Arms left AR setup. I have yet to use one in a training course though.

i'm a lefty - left eye dominate but shoot all messed up. shoot rifles right handed with my right eye, pistols right handed with my left eye. the only thing i shoot correctly is a bow. mostly b/c you can't borrow grandpa's bow, but you can borrow his gun.

I'm righty (normal! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ) but like sitting next to lefties at the dinner table!
