Vic - I was in the 2ID - your grandfather's helmet must be priceless to you - and it sure is beautiful.
I'll be thinking about my grandfathers who both served in WWII, one of which I never met, the other passed when I was 5 years old.
I pray that my brothers in Arms who are in unsafe places stay safe.
And, a special "thank you" to Gravelface, who's personal sacrifice was much greater than mine and most in his service to our country.

Dan, your sacrifice is the same as mine and the rest of us.....I just got an "Iraqi Marksman Badge" Leaving behind a wife and children to go to a distant land is the hardest part and that makes our sacrifices equal.

Indeed a generous thanks to thoes who have served and are serving. I live a safe and free life, I have never witnessed conflict on a great scale. I have not had to endure any of the hard-ships that come with war, from combat or even food and fule rations, sure prices are up but my liberties and freedoms have always been kept safe by other brave men and women. I thank you for your sacrafices and I thank the familes who's members have made the ultimate sacriface.

Thanks all! And especially to those who have fallen and been wounded! There's was the greatest contribution to this great country. They are the heroes!
