My wife finds it odd that I handle knives or/and guns while watching TV....my father did the same thing...seems natural to me.

Doesn't everybody do that? I chose the knife based on the show like my first strike or cheness for anime or my Buck 119 for the scream movies.
What would be a good dogfather movie? Not Crocidile Dunndee or Rambo though.

A good movie for the DogFather might be "The Naked Prey", starring Cornel Wilde, another old movie where he is a Professional Hunter in Colonial Africa. When natives kill the hunting party, they give him a running start before pursuing him. Dog Soldiers was an awesome flick, leatherface! I'm off today, so I think I am gonna watch that one. My puppies have not seen it yet.
I almost always play with something while hanging around. Last night, while watching Rome and Battlestar, I probably flicked open my sebenza 23432 times.
I usually put in a war type movie, if cleaning my guns or modifying something. Seige of Firebase Gloria, Dogs of War, Wild Geese, something like that. Somehow, watching 'While you were Out" doesn't do the same job.

Another good knife and gun movie is either version of Dawn of the Dead.
