I had one of those about 30 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Enjoy this new found money Jason! I am positive they would NOT give it to you if they had no confidence and faith in you and your abilities. Jason - congrats on the knife and promotion! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Just DON'T screw it up by fooling around like a big kid, and then getting caught "in the act" by someone higher up in the chain of command. Along with the promotion comes additional responsibility including setting an example for your subordinates. I completely understand. This is the first step in what I know consider maybe a keeper job for a spell. I am now at 13.50 per hour. Sadly, that is about what I would be making at my local police department. They are showing trust in my abilities and now I can demonstrate the leadership that place has been lacking. It certainly isn't any rain on my parade!
