Well, I went to the Hardware store to get an Aerator for the kitchen sink - and I did get one (the wrong size, of course) but this Trailblazer Saw caught my eye. Ksjumpmd had told me that he liked the Trail Blazer "sawvivor," which is one of their smaller saws, so I figured that for $30 I couldn't go wrong with their bigger model to leave in my Explorer.

It stores nicely in the handle, is lightweight, fairly easy to put together, and seems solid enough. I'll probably order a spare blade for it - but even though I haven't been out to use it yet, I'm pretty confident that this is a "winner."

A saw like that is often way faster than an axe and is also lighter and produces better cuts. A spare blade might be a good idea and would not take much space.
I have one but it is more workmanlike.

I'll look for a spare blade right now - that'd be a wise addition. It may fit a second blade in there as well - it'd be tight, though!

I've got one of those. I like it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I gotta admit that I haven't actually used it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> But I have gotten it out and put it together, pretty cool!

The design is great - its a lot of saw and fits nicely in a tube - easy to stow. I really like it thus far, and can't wait to get out and USE IT!!
