I have the larger model Coleman duelfuel stove. It came from Walmart and it was a limited special and came with a grey plastic case for travel. I’ve used it several times (not for many years though, I bought it when I was 15 or so) using only unleaded gas. It always worked great, and burned hot.

JB- I have that stove and give it a luke-warm endorsement. It was my primary backpacking stove for years. What do you think your primary use will be? Are you a white gas guy or a propane guy or an isobutane guy? Pros are that fuel is carried in the stove and that it is really rugged. Cons are the weight, cold weather performance (without perheating paste), and long-term issues with fuel quality management and minor leaks. Give us a sense of your needs and perhaps a more concrete recommendation can be made.

Growing up my primary stove was the wisperlite. loved it. always worked. no problems. they have an international model that burns multi fuels now. This stove also got great reviews over on military.com ![[Linked Image from kitup.typepad.com]](http://kitup.typepad.com/kitup/images/tankerxgk_1.jpg) here is the review: http://kitup.military.com/2006/11/cooking_tanker_.html

I use this one: http://www.jetboil.com/Keep in mind its used mainly for heating water to put in the mountian house meals. It serves as good as any small stove can for other cooking uses also.

I have been looking at some of MSR products myself. Are they durable?
