Thanks, dogs. It does look cool, but it's really useless on a chopper. I just thought it might be fun to see, and it is not that hard for me to do with the right belts.

Those are incredible edges. I am going to order some finer belts tonight.

I think your right about the CarbonV kukuri being worth more now. I was stricken by lust. I prefer a satin finish now as well.

I read that really rough(coarse diamond) edged blades cut just as well for most things but I love the look of a mirror polish next to the satin.
A polished edge is not as good for fish and rope but better for wood.
