What started out as buying a Tan S6 and Tan sheath has ended up as the perfect ultimate combat grade sheath.

First, came the tan S6....I was told it would include a sheath of my choice. I thought long and hard about it and finally asked if Rainwalker thought he could make a drop leg rig. His answer "let's try, may not be perfect....but lets give it a shot". I then mentioned, the split belt loop....to help retain the sheath at you side (works great with your pants side belt loop). Now! along come the tan swamp warden....I mention to rainwalker that I would like one...The short of the story is, he picks one up for me at Knob Creek. That leads to the idea for a combo drop leg rig....we both had Ideas, how to attach the second sheath to the S6 sheath.....Rainwalker's Idea was the winner.

This is the most comfortable sheath I have ever owned....fits like a glove and is perfect for sitting in a chair with. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the project.....I'm trying to convince the U.S. and Canadian militaries, that they need to order about 400,000 of these things. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Also, notice the wonderful lanyard on the swamp warden.....A gift from Mrs. Rainwalker. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Here are a couple of bad pictures of the combo.......may take a few more....if the sun ever returns. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

Thanks again Jeff!...I'm gonna have to work harder to stump you on the next sheath....seems you can do anything.

When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.

Oh Yeah! I blame the whole thing on "rooikat" with his [censored] tan obsession.....before that, I'd have never looked at the tan knives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

That is a radical sheath. I bet Jeff already has more orders for them.

Good pictures. I like how slim the sheath is. I thought it was a lot bulkier, from the initial picture you posted.
I have always liked SAS style leg drops. It keeps crap below your Body Armor, jacket, LBE, etc.
Of course, the fact that it is in the 'new black' does not hurt.
