What started out as buying a Tan S6 and Tan sheath has ended up as the perfect ultimate combat grade sheath.

First, came the tan S6....I was told it would include a sheath of my choice. I thought long and hard about it and finally asked if Rainwalker thought he could make a drop leg rig. His answer "let's try, may not be perfect....but lets give it a shot". I then mentioned, the split belt loop....to help retain the sheath at you side (works great with your pants side belt loop). Now! along come the tan swamp warden....I mention to rainwalker that I would like one...The short of the story is, he picks one up for me at Knob Creek. That leads to the idea for a combo drop leg rig....we both had Ideas, how to attach the second sheath to the S6 sheath.....Rainwalker's Idea was the winner.

This is the most comfortable sheath I have ever owned....fits like a glove and is perfect for sitting in a chair with. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the project.....I'm trying to convince the U.S. and Canadian militaries, that they need to order about 400,000 of these things. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Also, notice the wonderful lanyard on the swamp warden.....A gift from Mrs. Rainwalker. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Here are a couple of bad pictures of the combo.......may take a few more....if the sun ever returns. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

Thanks again Jeff!...I'm gonna have to work harder to stump you on the next sheath....seems you can do anything.

Brad

Sweet!! Nice work.

WOW that is some great work ,although it would be better in black. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That is very impressive how well it works together but what really is incredible is how many different things Jeff does well like leather and kydex and drop legs etc.

Have you done a leather sheath with kydex insert yet Jeff?

Sure he has.....I believe he made the first one for me as well. Works great! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Rainwalker and I work well together....I come up with the insane ideas....and, he makes them happen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Bram,

That rig makes me ache all over. For one just like it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

What a beauty that is, the offset of the Skelly is what REALLY catches MY eye!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

That is perfect! I always disliked the formal straight up and down piggybacks. To hard to find the Lil pig in a hurry! Straps and snaps all lined up in a row. BUT this idea is what I would have chose as well.
Great idea bram. Great idea indeed! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

It is not only cosmetically perfect but it is functionally perfect. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Those are two of the reasons I shop with the Rainwalker. I expect,no demand perfection in my rigs. Time and time again Jeff has not met these needs.

He has exceeded them every time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

A Rainwalker customer for life says I? YAR!!! You bet Matey!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Great job, great finished product. The PRIDE shows. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Enjoy Bram.

Peace.

Bramel,

I'm really glad the rig exceeds your expectations.

Your ideas can be challenging, I'm glad that I have been able to make them come to life. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I'm always willing to test my limits, keeps things interesting, and keeps me busy... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes Vic...This rig has generated a lot of interest... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I just wish they were easier to make... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys for all the complements too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Lets post all the potos of Jeffs work we can on this thread? I hope Bramel does not mind if we show off some of the other work Jeff has done for members of this forum? I especially would like to see some of his leather sheaths? Here is my Rainwalker sheath I had him make me for my YKLE and I have been quite impressed.
I had him make 2 mounting points so the sheath can be hung upside down like a shoulder holster or behind the passenger seat in my truck so I can reach it quite easily.
