Nice to know, but at this time I have no interest in stripping my blades.

I have stripping planned on my SH-E tonight.

I am not sure if I will bother with chemical stripper or just grind it off with a dull belt. I got a norton grinder that is a bit better than the 30$ models but still a 1 incher.

If you cut a belt from a sander into 25cent sized circles and stick them on the dremel you can get really close to the edges and they make great stripping and polishing tools. They also work great for removing rust and sharpening shovels etc.

That Mod4 is so well done i have posted it before not knowing it was Pitmans.

I have done some fine polishing jobs and they take a LONG time. here is a link to how to do a really nice jap style polish but with sandpaper rather than rocks.

I have tried to gather up photos of nicely modded Bussekin knives here.

If it is OK with you guys Pitman and HD I am going to put some of yopur nonBusse pics like the Mod4 and Ontario Machette up as well?
