Tony,
the factory sheath is fine. I like it a lot. I bought it mainly to store the black scrapper in when it is lying about. i hate leaving a naked blade on the table, with puppies spazzing about.
my LE has a leather sheath that leatherface was kind enough to build for me. That one is the one to get.

I can also carry the factory sheath on the molle attachments on my Eagle pack. I find that quite convenient.

None yet. But I've got a SS4 on hold for me until I can raise the funds. I need to eBay some stuff in the next couple days. I've been trying to catch up on the forum first. Bummer about the card board sheath. That sucks.
