Last Thursday I got my DMLE. Guess it takes some time to arrive in Africa but no complaints it came. Can't yet figure out why sometimes it takes a week and sometimes the parcels go into a limbo and only come out of that limbo after 3 months. Never lost a knife but I did lose a set of sheaths once .

This morning I got the sheath from Jeff (Rainwalker on this forum). The tan color was chosen because the initial option was not available, what can I say, the picture doesn't do it justice: a beauty. Frankly Jeff, I'll send you an email this weekend, I need some more sheaths.

Before they get all scratched up I decided to take a couple of pics. On the pic the left tan sheath for the DMLE is Rainwalkers work. The one for the DMCG comes from Dave (Buybrown). Both are great sheaths and quite similar, Rainwalkers hugs the knife slightly higher. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a drainage hole, I'll add that one tomorrow with my trusty Dremel.

And a combination of prickly things: Mutt on a baby aloe ferox. Fully grown it will stand 5-6 feet high, the aloe not the mutt.

enjoy
Forgot to mention, its not mint anymore Planted a tree aloe this afternoon and needed to break a plastic pot to get the plant out.

Very nice... I still need to get me a CG version and some pants for the LE. Yours are looking great, have fun with them.

Bodhi, Great Pics! I'm glad to hear you got the sheath and that it is to your satisfaction. Sorry about the drain hole, some like it, some don't or don't care if it's there or not, I've never seen a really big need for it so I've never made it a regular practice.

I look forward to seeing more pics of those Mutts in action.

I bet those Mutts would love to have a DFLE to go chopping with...
