I was thinking of getting a Atwood or Buck Hartsook to wear as a neck knife for those times when you really need a very thin edge. I ended up getting a Strider
ED neck knife. I am not a huge fan of S30V(I still ended up with 3 of them) but it works really well as a companion to a large scrapper. I love the Swarden but it is a bit thick for neck carry. Something Hartsook sized from Swamprat in 52100
would be perfect.

I just got a Mora 2000, thats probably going to be thrown in to any bag I'm carrying to do real light cutting. Great point though, Pit, the DM is a great knife and indestructible tool, but needs a companion.

A SAK makes a good companion to the Mutt.
I picked up a Buck odyssey in 420HC before I got into quality knives and it actually worked pretty well even when I broke the tip off and reground it.
I still have it in case I need a loaner/toolbox knife etc.

Pitman, I had similar thoughts concerning a CRKT Dogfish to back up my S6. I love my S6- even before I saw it survive a Noss 'seeing too'!
I've got my partially serated dogfish para corded to my tan yard hook right now
for cutting cord and doing finer work
