i think i might ctually hold out for an s7(cg) dogfather(CG) or anything else dan brings.

emf, i'm tellin you right now, if you don't go to the farthest extent you possibly can to get a dfle, you will regret it.

you will regret it when rooi shows us his godzilla's gathered around the df.
you will regret it when dice shows us the montana forest he knocked down with his.
you will regret it when hd shows us how much better it performs than his other million 10" bowies with a mirror polished convex edge.
you will regret it when everyone is posting pictures of their awesome leatherface and rainwalker dfle sheathes.
finally, you will regret it when you're chopping something with a lesser knife.

go to the farthest length, and if it's not possible when you're at your limits, get it anyway.

Price difference between the CG and LE Dogfather is $35. I totally understand if you don't have funds now - but - if you're just holding off for the CG to save a few bucks, it may not be "worth" your time (could be a long wait.)

However

There will probably be some much, much more affordable blades coming from Dan before too long (like $60-80). Don't sweat it if you've gotta sit this one out - wait for "the one" to be released... you'll know it!!

(I've sat out on a number of Scrappers... this won't be one of them, though!)
