The ASH-1 is one of the few Busse's that are worth the $$$ to me
yea I wish there was a slightly cheaper alternative (dan ya there bro??) for us POOR people

If only the 2 most expensive knives I am interested in did not have to come out at the same [censored] time! I can afford either but not both. I was planing on getting a matched set of DFLE's so if I only got one and really scrounged I might be Able
to afford one of each but the DFLE's are just to good a deal.

yea I wish there was a slightly cheaper alternative (dan ya there bro??) for us POOR people I am doing my best for you Dogs. Slab handles are just to costly to maintain my performance to price ratio. I have to admit when I see a beautiful knife and this is a beauty. I know it performs and I chase that standard every day. Dan

I actually prefer the RES-C especially on a user. It is not as slick looking as the micarta slabs but the Yard has always been about performance over looks anyway.

don't worry, we have time to recuperate for the ASH as it'll be a while before they're up for sale in the BCS.
go for the DFLE NOW! i wasn't really interested in one but i know i'll regret not gettin it when you boys all show me yours in action so i'm not makin the same mistake i made with the cgdf, s6, yk, yg, yh, dmle, ss4, udm...

Hey Mag, That's my logic as well. DFLE now, and ASH-1 later. Already have to HOGFSHes in .320, and one is a user. Might pass on the ASH altogether.
