I should tell you all that just now I called Sherry back to the office and showed her the posts, she cried...I cried...we hugged and cried together. She asked me why is The Yard doing this? I gave her the same answer as before. Because it is not just a forum to hang out in it is a home for all of us like minded people to enjoy our passion of steel with each other.It is like a brotherhood.

This place we haunt has grown over the last year with many hew names and personalities. All of whom for some strange reason fit in like fingers in a glove. We belong here. I don't exactly know why but we are drawn here for our brotherhood to grow and our bonds of friendship to strengthen. We draw from The Yard as it nourishes our very being. The Scrap Yard Knives are made for our class of people. And here we stay to talk about them,abuse them and post our tests on them while ever increasing our family. It is good that people like us should meet here in this way. And what you all have done for me and my family this Christmas will always be a treasured memory. I have many knives now and each one is categorized with its purchase price.The date it was bought ,all information about the steel and blade make up. And most of all I write why I bought it. Every blade I own has a full page story about in in a spiral notebook so I never forget.

This also was done to leave a legacy for my children to put with the steel when I am gone. So that they will perhaps feel how much I loved each and every blade I owned.
When they get to the page on the Dog Father Limited Edition, they too will weep.
